Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using VedMatch.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using VedMatch ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to marry under Indian law. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is true and accurate.

3. Account & Profile

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You may create only one account per person.
  • Your profile must represent you. No fake, duplicate, or misleading profiles.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these terms.

4. Plans & Payments

VedMatch offers a free registration tier and paid subscription plans (Basic, Plus, Super). Plan details, pricing, and inclusions are described on our Pricing page.

  • All payments are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • Subscriptions do not auto-renew; you must manually renew when the plan expires.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. AI-Based Matching

The Platform uses an AI-based matching engine to suggest compatible profiles based on your profile data and stated expectations. By using the Platform you explicitly consent to your data being processed by our AI engine for the purpose of generating match recommendations. AI suggestions are algorithmic and not a guarantee of compatibility or successful marriage.

6. Messaging

Messages sent through VedMatch are stored on our servers and are not end-to-end encrypted. Basic transport security (TLS) is applied. Do not share sensitive personal or financial information over the Platform's chat.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, abuse, or threats towards other members.
  • Posting offensive, obscene, or illegal content.
  • Soliciting money or financial assistance from other members.
  • Using the Platform for commercial solicitation or spam.
  • Attempting to circumvent or misuse the AI matching system.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, and technology are owned by VedMatch. You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, bio) but grant VedMatch a non-exclusive licence to display it to other users as part of the service.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is". VedMatch does not verify the identity of all users and is not responsible for the conduct of any member. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Platform, including failed relationships.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
